Lyle Novinski, professor emeritus of art at University of Dallas, has been an artist, a teacher and
a leading light in designing sacred spaces for over 50 years. A better title might be Renaissance Man. Lyle is also a published poet, a scholar, an expert in the art and architecture of the Christian world, a proponent of the proper understanding of liturgical spaces and public spaces in Western culture and a family man who, with his wife helped to establish and promote the success of the University of Dallas. Lyle's seminal role in developing the art program at UD and his contributions as a designer of liturgical spaces are renowned.
