New TV series delivers immersive experience for kids, and the entire family, to learn about their Catholic faith

 

TAMPA, FLORIDA, September 8, 2021–It’s no secret that the culture today is vying for the attention of families and their kids in a variety of ways, many of which are harmful, unwholesome and unbecoming for Christians hoping for truthful entertainment that aligns with their faith.

 

Studio 3:16is an episodic TV series for kids developed byCross Boss Media, with a focus on high-quality entertainment that gives parents the peace of mind to know their kids will be learning the truth, beauty and goodness of the faith through doctrinally sound programming.

 

The series launches on the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, September 8, 2021, with 18 episodes scheduled for the first season.“Our programming sparks the interest of modern kids by speaking the truth in creative, entertaining ways while being unmistakingly faith-based and wholesome,” said Rob Reynolds, founder and president of Cross Boss Media and executive producer of Studio 3:16. “By combining original music with comedy, we deliver a fresh alternative to the programs filled with violence and sex, which currently permeate the air. Studio 3:16’ enriches the lives of families while engaging and leading young people on a journey to discover Christ and understand the Bible."

Content is directed towards kids ages 7-12 years old, and a new episode will be made available each week on the Studio 3:16website. Eighteen episodes have already been produced, with another 54 episodes planned for production and release over the next 18 months.

ROB REYNOLDS

Founder & Executive Producer

Rob Reynolds taught high school biology, chemistry and psychology in the New York public school system. Concurrently, beginning in 2005, Rob invested in multifamily real estate as an owner-operator.

 

In 2010, he co-founded Avesta, a Tampa-based multifamily real estate investment and management company, and ended his teaching career in June of 2011 to relocate and focus on real estate full time. He helped grow Avesta to 450 employees and $1.7 billion in real estate assets; he also led the company’s culture, resulting in national recognition as No. 19 in Fortune’s Top 100 Medium Workplaces and regional finalist for E&Y’s international Entrepreneur of the Year in 2017.

 

In 2018, Rob left Avesta to pursue a deep conviction to launch what has become Cross BossMedia, with its mission “to provide children a genuinely entertaining, secure place to encounterChrist in a way that inspires action.” He is passionate about Christianity and his Catholic faith, rooted in his upbringing and education, and reinforced through faith-centered friendships and a regimented prayer life.

 

Rob was pre-med in college and graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville in 2004 with a BA in biology and theology, minoring in chemistry. He has a MS inAdolescence Education from Mercy College, and a MS in Instructional Technology.

 

He co-founded the Society of St. Joseph, a men’s Catholic fellowship organization focused on the three pillars of faith formation, works of mercy, and family leadership.

 

Rob also is the president of theTampaBay chapter of Legatus. He has been married to his wife, Marya, since 2006, and is a devoted father to six daughters and one son.
