Fr Owen hails from Dublin, Ireland.
He joined the Legion in 1966 after secondary school, and studied in Spain and Rome.
He has been a vocation director, a professor of humanities, editor of the National Catholic Register and Faith and Family Magazine.
With Fr Patrick Langan he co-authored The Quest for the Core of the Regnum Christi Charism. The book is available on Amazon, both Kindle and hard copy.
In 2014 he came to Dallas. He serves as chaplain to the Consecrated Women of Regnum Christi and to the adult sections of the Regnum Christi Movement in Dallas.
