• For the last seven years, Steve has traversed the diocese giving parish talks about the value of Catholic radio. 

• He has brought a bold witness to the effect of Catholic radio through many interviews, newsletters, and video presentations.

• He writes and delivers the very popular 60 second challenging spots as heard on radio networks nationwide

• He currently hosts a live radio program across the Guadalupe Radio Network called the Quest...formally named “A live lived Joyfully”.   

• He has authored books on both apologetics and catechesis.

 

• Steve and his wife Teresa have 5 grandchildren, 6 children, all but one live right here in the area so the get-togethers are many.

 

• And he is not all work - ne of his nicknames is “Water Baby”. He still competes within his group on a national level in four swimming events and consistently finishes top 5. 

• Steve has been part of a team that swims and races island to island in hawaii…thus far, the tiger sharks have left him alone.

• One other note regarding the ocean. He has won the World bodysurfing contest and still competes 4-5 times per year.
